About
I am Nat aka NatNat,I thought it was time for me to fill this bit in!! Firstly a few things about me, i got married in May 2011 so i am settling into the role of a wife haha!I love my cats >^.^< I have been ill since October 2006 with M.E and Fibromyalgia two chronic illnesses which have changed my life completely...i am unable to go out by myself as i have to use a wheelchair so i spend most of my time at home and mainly in bed.
I love the theatre, musicals (to many to list), singing (i am bit of a lovie!) leopard print, fashion, make up, ebay, watching make up tutorials on youtube and diy jewellery projects! Over the past couple of years i having started to adore and become more aware and in love with everything kitsch, quirky, kooky, kawaii, rockabilly, tattoos, 1950s makeup/inspired clothes, accessories and jewellery. I mainly express my style through my jewellery and accessories, i love wearing unique pieces which always seem to get compliments and asked where i got them from. I like to support handmade jewellery companies.
I have decided that 2012 i am going to try and become more creative, my illnesses restrict me from doing alot of things but i want to try and do things which i can be proud of and make me happy....so with this in mind i am going to start making my own jewellery!! I have armed myself with a couple of books to help and inspire me; Tatty Devine's "How to Make Jewellery" and the "Polymer Clay Cook book" by Jessica and Susan Partain. I would welcome any help/advice/ideas from any other lovely crafters on here and hopefully in the near future i will be able to post pictures of my own jewellery creations UPDATE; My new jewellery adventure is starting surely but slowly...I have sold a couple of my new creations to family and friends and i have had lots of interest from people which has boosted my confidence and spurred me on to keep creating. My jewellery comes under the style of mainly Kawaii, Alternative & Rockabilly...I have rings with classic beautiful icons like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn & Rita Hayworth. Necklaces of stunning pin up girls & cute skulls. My fun rings are food miniatures of lovely delicious cakes, biscuits, fruit puddings & other yumminess!!! My life is full up on researching for jewellery supplies, researching ideas & any help or advice from kind, helpful crafters who don't mind giving ideas & support. I also believe in fairies!!
