I am 46 years old and live in Upsate New York with my husband of 11 years and my dog Jette.

While I enjoy all kinds of crafts and will try anything at least once, my favorite hobbies are crocheting, sewing, collecting porcelain dolls and cooking for my husband and family of four sisters and my father.

I am teaching myself paper quilling right now and as soon as my husband dis-assembles it for me, I will be refinishing an antique table I purchased on Craigs list.

The only kind of music I really don't care for is Rap and my favorite movie is Blade Runner with Rutger Howe and the Terminator movies. I don't really have a favorite book since I don't have time between crafting and working (as an Administrative Assistant at a tool & die company for almost 14 years) to want to sit still and read one, although I do enjoy Martha Steward Living magazine and her website.

I spent an entire Saturday going through this website to see what it has to offer and I am very pleased to see the wide assortment of ideas and positive comments people have with those sharing their crafts. I am looking forward to sharing my own projects with you.
