How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
Crikey, it was such a long time ago i can barely remember. I have a funny feeling it was when you were mentioned in The Book Queen of Crafts by Jazz Domino-Holly. I remember thinking "ooooh that sounds exactly like my kinda website" and then toddled off, got my laptop and had a sneaky peek! I was really impressed with the content and desperate to show of my creative abilities, so....I joined! And the rest, they say, is history!
What projects are you currently working on?
Currently i have all my wedding invitations, favours, RSVP's on the go and also making my mum's Christmas present (which I cant tell you what it is in case she reads this!) also currently re-funking a horrible old suitcase into a bed for my cat Mabel. So keep your fingers crossed for me on that one!

What does your craft space look like?
Currently my craft space (aka the Spare room) is really a dumping ground for everything from the old couch to the cats litter tray! Hopefully once my wedding is doen i will then be able to spend some time working on the room and getting it in tip top shape for craftiness!
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
My favourite tools are my sewing machine, needlenose pliers and lots and lots of PVA glue. If you have those babies, you can do anything you want! The great thing about being a crafter is that you become a hoarder too. So nine times out of ten, whenever i want to do anything, i'll have all the materials i need on hand anyway! My partner may moan that the crafting room (aka spare room) is a mess, but i dont care! I need that stuff!
What do you craft along to?
Currently i am crafting along to a lot of Nina Simone and Chet Baker. I like to chill out when i craft and cant be bothered with anything too "in your face". After all, i do need to concentrate on what i am doing. If i am crafting in the living room then i have all 6 episodes of Sophie Dahls Cooking program recorded on TIVO. So i usually whack them on and have a mini marathon with her!

Favorite Craft
In all honesty, it changes from day to day, one day i will be working on my sewing machine making a quilt for my mum and the next i will be doing a paper craft or helping friends design invitations. I am not a crafter who specializes in once subject as i get bored too easily! I need my crafts to be quick, simple and most of all effective

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?
Next year i hoping to do some classes in woodwork and silversmithing. I have a teeny tiny bit of experience in those but need some more tuition!
Who are your crafting heroes?
Hmmm, crafting heroes are a wee bit difficult! There are sooo many its so difficult to choose. I love Jazz Domino-Holly as she is as eclectic as me in her crafting styles. Another, i have already mentioned is Sophie Dahl for Cookery Crafting. She cooks the way i want to cook, really simple, elegant and very very tasty. Lastly i would have to include my current favourite crafter Jillian Owens aka Re-fashionista she is brilliant and i love how she takes something that looks like the cat dragged in and makes into something fab!
