I have twin baby girls... it's time to start sewing again!
More about me:
I found out that I could sew in early August of 2010. Since then, I have been sewing like a madman, anything and everything. My current quest is to make the perfect messenger bag and I am always looking for new fabrics and materials to use.
As sewing is predominantly a female sport, I would like to bring an element of "Gator Cool" to the industry... I'm not talking "machismo," but rather the idea that even guys can do this, too.
I learned to sew a little as a kid, and watched my mom sew all sorts of things, and now, after a career in television, I find that sewing something, creating something from just a few pieces of fabric, is much more gratifying, and satisfying, and tangible.
Every project I create is unique and I am always excited as I get to that last stitch.
I look forward to learning from this collaboration and if I can, help someone get started and find the passion that I now have.
