Kelly Fletcher is a largely self-taught hand embroiderer who grew up with needles and thread, fabric and yarn. She creates content for magazine, book and kit publishers worldwide, designs hand embroidery patterns for her online shop and is the author of Embroidered Home and 120 Embroidery Stitches. She favours creative surface embroidery with its many stitches and puts a contemporary spin on traditional stitches and techniques to create fresh designs that appeal to modern embroiderers.
