About

I credit my creativity to my Depression-era parents. They both learned to "use what they had". Sewing was the first creative project that I learned at about eight years old. This led to sewing my own clothes in junior high and high school. I dabbled in crewel embroidery, counted cross-stitch and ceramics. My oldest sister, introduced me to rubber stamping in about 1996. Since I can barely draw stick people, I was instantly hooked and felt like an artist. In 1997, I became an Independent Demonstrator with Stampin' Up! I sell high-quality papercrafting supplies and teach papercrafting classes. I’m passionate about creating handmade greeting cards, scrapbooks, gift items and home décor items.

My other creative interests are going to thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales. I find antiques and vintage junque. Some things I keep as they are or repurpose them to decorate my home and garden.
