Hi Paulina. Thanks for faving my fascinator hat and underbust corset. The gathered bustle should work in theory with adding more layers to make it full length. You would need a full skirt under it though and a long underskirt otherwise it could be too full. If you make it from a lighter weight fabric it would be better for a full length one. I worked out the pattern pieces based on a graded system so if you follow the calculation it should work. You will have to have several rectangle pieces in the lower ruffles to get the fullness so try to do them in 2 or 3 equal pieces. It depends on how wide your fabric is.
