Featured Member Interview
How did you find CO+K and why did you join?
I was looking for a pattern for pencil pouches, and found a bunch of tutorials. It took about a year before I joined and started uploading my own projects.
What projects are you currently working on?
I'm teaching some people how to crochet soon, as a team bonding activity, so I'm trying to find simple projects. I'm, of course, always working with clay. I've been making fish ponds and jelly fish, and lots of dragon pins!

What does your craft space look like?
I don't really have a craft space, but I usually work on an orange bear cutting board or green frog cutting board, which are in some of my earlier video tutorials. I leave it in a pull-out shelf on my desk and carry the entire thing to where ever I want to sit and sculpt! When I crochet I
Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?
Embroidery needles! Not only do I use them for sewing in loose ends when I'm knitting, crocheting, or actually sewing, but I also use them for texturing clay, or sculpting small details.
What do you craft along to?
I watch a lot of Doctor Who, Sherlock, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, or sometimes science or history documentaries made by PBS (American public broadcasting). I sometimes just have Vlogbrothers, or other things related to nerdfighteria (The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, the Brain Scoop, My Drunk Kitchen, Crash Course and all their cute animations, etc.), or Stuff Mom Never Told You on playlist and let them play as I craft. Music-wise, I listen to a lot of movie or musical soundtracks, recently a lot of HTTYD2 (I remember being read the books in school when I was younger and recently saw the movies).

I like making things from polymer clay! I've made a lot of charms, and now have so many that I've started an etsy so I'll have room to make more! I also like crocheting, especially amigurumi.
Manda's Top Crafts

Who are your crafting heroes?
Karen Kavett, puddingfishcakes, and Jen Yates! All wonderfully nerdy!
