About
Hi, my name is Naomi, but my friends and family call me Omi. I love to read, mostly classics. I also love to write. I'm not a big sewer, but I like to use my great-grandma's singer machine from the '50s (or '40s, not sure!) to make simple things. I also love to knit, fold origami, refinish furniture, cook, scrapbook, do anything that has to do with Christmas, etc.

- commented on their comment Hi, thank you for taking the time to answer my question about the rose pillow! that sounds like a simple concept but difficult to actually do...but I love the way it looks so I might attempt it. maybe. to PinkWeeds 03 May 14:18
- commented on their comment could you please make a how-to? It's probably beyond my abilities, but I'm really curious. Super cool! to Rose Pillow 01 May 17:13

The basics of making it would require a t-shirt type material. Cut the material in a spiral circle to make the ruffle effect then sew it on to the front panel of your pillow in a circle motion. Its very time consuming and requires a lot of patience. I hope that helps out a bit
