I am retired from the grocery business and currently taking care of my mom who has Alzheimer's. She sleeps a lot so I work from home making things and embellishing them with embroidery or applique. I have a commercial embroidery machine, a sewing/embroidery machine and a serger. However, I also love dogs, family, bike riding, and several other type of crafts. Some other things I do are scroll saw wood crafts, and reborning baby dolls, crocheting, furniture refinishing, tole painting, stenciling, and just about anything else that strikes my fancy. It keeps me busy during this important time in my mother's life when the tides have changed and it's my turn to care for her.
