I've been crafty for as long as I can remember... I'm not afraid to break out the kids' crayons and color with them, and they know they should ask before coloring in "mom's coloring books."

Some of my addictions include:
-photography
-crocheting
-sewing
-beading
-paper & digital scrapbooking
-stamping & card making
-painting
-decorating and home improvements (I'm a D.I.Y.er!)
-general crafting (ribbons, bows, etc)

Some of my former interests include:
-clay

I've learned to avoid going into craft stores unless I have a purpose or else I find myself with a full cart of varying projects, a lot of which don't end up happening because I also have to juggle 4 kids! The ideas flow in my head any time I'm in a store leading me to question my abilities to make something, anything instead of buying it. I've found myself continually struggling to find a balance for all my interests.

My love of being crafty led me to become a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher (formerly Home Ec)
