About

I was raised in the once small town of Yorkville, IL. Back when walking through other peoples yards was not unheard of. We played baseball in the empty lots and in the old cow pasture (unless the cows were out) We built rafts to ride on the Fox river, and collected pop bottles to turn in for change to by a soda that all of us shared...and lived. I walked to school everyday rain or shine. I went to kindergarten in a friends basement and his mother was my teacher. I was in Jr. High when the Vietnam war was going on. I rode horses or ponies anytime I could and rode in many parades in my home town of Yorkville. I got married and divorced in the early 70's and have 2 wonderful boys from that marriage. I worked at Cat. in the late 70's early 80's and became a certified welder there. I later became a certified riding instructor and passed my realtor exam. I worked at a camera store for a few years peaking my interest in photography. I was a crafter, and a seamstress for many years. I remarried to my present husband and best friend and we have since raised a boy and a girl. Life has had its ups and downs but we are still taking it one day at a time. I am thankful for all that God has given me. Yes if I had it all to do again knowing what I know now I would probably make a few different choices but, I am who I am and my choices have made me who I am.
