My name is Lovejoy and I spend my days trying to find myself by making sock monkeys and crocheting funny little animals. I don't work in a cubicle anymore because I went crazy and had to leave. I used to dream about leaping over those flimsy walls and running towards a better life. In a way I did leap.

My interest in sewing, embroidery, sock monkey making, and crocheting has stemmed from my desire to make my own Christmas presents, thereby successfully avoiding the dreaded Mall or other such evil vendors. I guess it has grown beyond Christmas and onto birthdays, Easter, and any plain old day I chose. I like to give my stuff away. It saves space and it makes me happy to give them to someone and see them surprised and intrigued.
