About
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy shit, what a ride""...... currently my favourite saying.
I've had a busy life. I've been married twice, still married to my second husband nearly of nearly 29 years. I had three children, remarried and inherited another four. Then we had one between us. So ... 8 altogether. They're now grown, and I have grandchildren and step great grandchildren. My kids are the most important thing in life, whatever else changes, that is a constant. I have wonderful siblings, and a great family too. I've worked at many things. Copy writer, Journalist, counsellor, Support teacher / programme manager/ I.T administrator. I believe we should all try and leave this world a little better than we found it, and my way of doing that was starting the Tauhara Community Support Initiative. Not only to celebrate our community, but to provide a bias free support system for people, who for what ever reason, may be struggling.Still plenty of new roads to travel yet. Life is for new challenges! I live in Taupo, a beautiful town in the centre of the North Island.
