I am a mom, a librarian, and I love to make stuff. I have a special affection for aprons, I like vintage ones, and I love making them. I have been embroidering since I was a child, having learned from my grandma, who was a seamstress by profession. She was so good, she made more money than my grandpa during the great depression. This was something she was very proud of! I have moved on from embroidery patterns featuring kittens doing household chores, and lately have been trying to learn new stitches, and to incorporate embroidery into my sewing. (or vice versa - depending on how you look at it.) Soon I will have my first opportunity to sell some of my stuff, which I am finding scary and exciting.
