I am an optimist! I am a mother, grandmother (MeiMei), wife, daughter, sister, friend. I am the world's worst procrastinator! (and) My shallow--Though definitely not my ONLY-- reason for looking forward to Heaven is that I'll no longer have to struggle with my weight-YAY!

I absolutely LOVE to laugh! "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine!" Whatever the situation may be, I can usually find the humor in it (That ain't always a good thing!). Don't take yourselves so seriously, ya'll! I'm the mother of 2 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome son, and MeiMei to the 4 most precious grandsons--and 1 granddaughter--in the world! :~D. I have an extensive family, to which I am very close, and all the people in my life mean the world to me! There is absolutely nothing more important than knowing they'll all meet me in Heaven when our time here has passed....which will hopefully be a while away! I love to quilt, & read, & bake & decorate cakes, & take long baths, & to spend time with my family & friends. :~D My "LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE": I was diagnosed with Melanoma on April 9th, 2008--"A day which shall live in infamy!"--on my leg...But after 2 surgeries, they got it all out of there--WooHoo!! After 2 1/2 months of uncertainty, I went from feeling like I had a "death sentence", to believing I have a "life sentence." We're not promised tomorrow, people, so we need to quit living that way! Make sure those you love and those who love you, know WHERE you're going WHEN you go! So, pray often, love always, laugh heartily,eat chocolate, and wear sunblock! I am blessed beyond measure... ..
