Born and raised in South Austin, TX; proud to be an Oak Crest Kid. Lived most of my adult life in Elgin, TX. Lee and I are happily "empty nesters" Hooray! Crafter of retro aprons and other hand made gifts. Also other sewing crafts to use up the scraps! Especially enjoy reusing found objects to make them useful again. My inspiration are my two pets: Bailey, my sweet, needy and unruly dachshund and Ki-Ki, my gorgeous independent cat who we lost November 2009. And most importantly, my dear mama who passed in 2001, who was a lover of all animals large and small. She was the most ingenious and resourceful woman and inspires me to create/renew/reuse.
