1999 – 2011 (12 years) Reston Virginia
I am the founder of DogLeggs, a veterinary therapeutic and rehabilitative products company. Until recently I designed and created all the products from concept through to delivery for multiple species: dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, llama, a moose, ferret and more. Coordinating with our in house Production Manager or turning patterns and product over to our Production house in York PA. I brought the company from one product for our own dog to sales of over 25000 of that product, Std. Adj. DogLeggs, to a product line of over 20 items, that include patents and trademarks. Through my 12 years at DogLeggs, I designed and produced over a thousand unique solutions for animals in need, the knowledge gained from those unique solutions helped me add innovative products to our offering.
While at DogLeggs, I created all graphic materials, including the logo and all collateral materials, ads and marketing pieces from 1999 through 11/2011.
I established relationships that have endured from the beginning of DogLeggs, in 1999 and since the hostile takeover of DogLeggs by our Business partner and his investors, both with suppliers, vendors, owners and veterinary professional worldwide.
The brand "DogLeggs" is through my efforts, known for innovation and quality. DogLeggs was known for its commitment to the animal in need with in stock or unique products shipping in less than 5 days. Under my guidance, we felt a significant responsibility to supply the animal in need and treat the condition at its onset, providing an environment for healing and return to health.
