About
Gini (Black) Farnham
I'm a stay at home, work from home mom...
Tried for many years before having my first daughter at 40, then my second daughter at 42. They keep me young. Never thought I'd still love to play Barbie, but how can I resist their sweet faces and pleas of "Just one more minute Mommie"?
I died on the table giving birth to my youngest, who was born with Downs and 4 holes and a bad valve in her heart. She had open heart surgery at 1.5 years and is doing very well... with over 50 word vocabulary in ASL (American Sign Language) and building her verbal vocabulary daily.
At 43 I had a stroke. I've recovered completely and the only thing it affected was my memory (I might look you right in the face and not know you) and sometimes my speach and mouth muscles.
Other than all that I'm doing great! Hubby is teaching me photography (he is a pro photog) so I won't have such horrid product shots. I'm a soapmaker by trade and now spin my own yarn from alpaca, angora, wool, and a variety of other natural fibers. I'm also a reclaimer of yarns in order to help lessen our landfills with fiber that is perfectly good and can be utilized by another.
Really looking forward to making soap, lotions and balms and enjoying my fiber producing animals and just live more simply.
