About
I am an artist born in Newfoundland and now live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been making and painting things since I can remember and I'm still at it. I love silk painting because of the great colors you can get and you can wear it! I also teach workshops and classes in silk painting, watercolor and drawing.
I studied both formally and informally on my own. My Mom instilled a love for the creative process when I was very young. I tend to get bored quickly and always want to be doing something new or finding out different ways to do things.
I like sharing what I do and seeing others get the same kind of enjoyment out of it that I do.

- commented on their comment Hi Donna, Oh yes, you can do cotton or any natural fiber. Just use Fiber Reactive Dyes instead of the Acid Dyes. Yes, I am a Newfie but I've been living here in Halifax for about 15 years now. As they say, you can take the Newfie out of the Rock but you can't take the Rock out of the Newf!
Where are you from?
