Hello, I'm Rachel! I am an artist, crafter, pattern writer, cat lover, runner, and frequent library visitor. I live in an old house in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with my husband and three cats (or daughters, as I like to call them) where I knit, crochet, sew, cook healthy meals, and generally have a good time. I also run a wonderful shop full of nature-inspired fiber art and embroidered keepsakes! If you love Etsy you can find me there, too : )

I love movies by Wes Anderson, books by Jane Austen, and music by The Decemberists.

Cornflower Blue Studio is a blog about creating a fresh, simple, beautiful life filled with special details. My goal is to help readers add fullness and joy to their everyday activities through DIY projects, craft skills, healthy recipes, and lovely photos. I believe that everyone should love their home, practice creativity, and feel inspired.
