Army wife uprooted from San Pedro, CA to Fort Lewis, WA. My husband is currently overseas, so it's just me and our puppy, Peach for a while. I'm looking to keep myself busy.

Currently I'm trying very very hard to learn to knit and I feel like I'm failing miserably. I know it takes time and practice, I am trying to be patient. So far I can cast on. I've been trying to knit my first stitches, but I feel like I'm doing it wrong. Am currently looking for classes or a knitting circle I can go to for help.

I'm also learning about ATCs, whimsy jars, felt crafts, and mail art. I would love to learn to sew, but don't have the slightest clue where to start.

I am completely obsessed with sending and receiving snail mail. and I would like to make some of that mail interesting and pretty, which is another reason to work on my craft skills.
