Marilyn Ragan is native Oklahoman. She is the daughter of Robert and Virginia Johnson of Midwest City. She holds a MFA in Drama from the University of Oklahoma and a BA in Theatre from Northeastern State University. She has attended Rose State College and Oklahoma City Community College working on a Mastery Certificate in Film and Video Production. She spent 2002 to 2005 as Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts, Resident Costume Designer at Cameron University. She served as Stage Manager for Quartz Mountain, Summer Arts Institute in 2004. Some other shows she had designed in the past are: Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Crucible, Godspell, Oxygen, Dark of the Moon, To Be Young Gifted and Black and Trail of Tears Outdoor Drama. She has won awards for Costume and Make-up Design, Hair and Make-up Design, Workshop Presentation and Acting from the American College Theater Festival Region VI.
