I'm an English girl in The middle East, I have recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in German Studies with Film.
I love museums and have worked in the Film Museum in Düsseldorf.

My prefered crafting medium is blackwork, although I will occasionally do cross stitch. I usually like to do more abstract designs as dictated by the angular nature of blackwork.

I also like to knit hats, my favourite so far is a tie between a green beret knitted on giant 20mm needles and my voyageur liberty cap.

I make clothes when I have the room and access to a sewing machine.

I really like Steampunk and Gothic aesthetics and literature, I am very interested in monster and supernatural horror and wrote a dissertation on German horror film for my degree.

I miss Britain very much, but also pine for the streets of Berlin and the maple lined avenues of Montreal.
