Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
I live in Aurora, CO and I just moved here from New Orleans. I grew up in New Jersey and went to college in Virginia--so I've been around the map! I love every place I've lived for different reasons, and I currently love Colorado because of it's natural beauty and outdoor activities.
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
We just moved into this home in October, and it's a work in progress but we've definitely made some great improvements. My favorite project we did was remodeling the guest bedroom into a ski lodge theme.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
I always have to-do lists. I like to write them down and have the satisfaction of crossing off jobs. Post-it notes are my best friend.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
Lauren Conrad--her style and preferences for decor are really beautiful.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
I would finish the basement--it's a huge, beautiful basement but it's unfinished. We would love to finish it, it's just not in our budget currently. We would also remodel the master bathroom--the previous owner's style isn't aligned with ours. The bathroom is so spacious and we have a plan to turn it into a grotto-type spa. Lastly, I would re-do the deck. It's a great deck, but I want it to feel more rustic. The color is just... not good right now. It has so much potential!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love crafting, and I spend most nights in my craft room. I mostly paint and draw, but I would love to branch out into other crafting hobbies. I also do a lot of photography (mostly food photography).
