Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
I absolutely love my home! It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath little house with a lovely screened in front porch. My husband and I have spent the last few years making it perfect for us. I love that every room is unique and reflects our personalities.
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
The first thing we did for our home was rip out the ugly mirrored medicine cabinet in the bathroom and replace it with a lacquered black shelf that we made. It looks amazing!
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
The most helpful thing that I have found is to get rid of things as you don't need them. I have relatively small house, so it's easy for clutter to pile up. I keep a cute basket by the door that I fill up with things to donate. It is constantly full, but our house is usually quite neat!
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
Hmmm... I don't keep up with celebrities much, but I have seen pictures of Gwyneth Paltrow's house and it is so pretty.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
I would add another bathroom! There are definitely moments when I would like another :)
I would also like a kitchen makeover. Ours is nice but not our style.
Finally, a garage for all of our house work tools.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love crafting in general - I have been creating a few jewelry pieces lately. I also love to read and I enjoy yoga.
