When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
Actually, I don't enjoy cooking or baking as much as I love eating the finished product. Most of my recipes are more about assembling. The recipes I have on my blog that involve the oven are in collaboration with my friend Queenie, who I consider my cooking/baking guru.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
I live in Manhattan which means my kitchen is about the size of your hall closet. I keep it organized by not buying too many gadgets.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Take classes! There are so many great classes offered all over the city.
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
I would do an black tie afternoon tea with friends instead of a dinner party. I would make all the recipes I blog about!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I have a couple of shops on Etsy. One, I make and sell bath and body products. I just reformulated the balm and it's amazing. I'm in love with it. The other shop has handmade travel bags and pouches.
