When did you first start sewing and how did you learn?
I started when I was 12 by taking apart my clothes, copying them and sewing them back together. I also watched my aunt who is a master seamstress and bridal gown designer, I learned a lot while spending my summers in the corner of her studio hand sewing my barbie clothes.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
Yes a green fitted dress that was so tight my grandma had to cut it off of me. I have no idea how I manage to get it on but It was my first lesson in woven and stretch fabrics, lol.
