Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
Husband & I purchased our teeny 1920's Minneapolis house over seven years ago. We had renters living in it for 4 years while we were living across the country, and just recently moved back into it. And boy, did it need a lot of work! We've been slowly making renovations and updates to the house to make it our home, and with lots of blood, sweat and tears, it's coming together really nicely!
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
The very first thing we did was update our old-fashioned dining room chandelier to a bright and modern pink color. It's one of my favorite house projects to-date.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
Don't keep anything in your home unless it's useful or beautiful.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
Ooh! Probably Jennifer Aniston. She has such a great sense of style, I can only imagine how great her home must be.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
This is a great question, because we think about this all the time. 1) Make it larger (it's less than 1,200 square feet!), 2) Fix the plumbing/crawl space so the pipes don't freeze in the kitchen every winter, and 3) Fix all of the DIY mistakes the previous owners made when they were remodeling (and probably should have hired a professional).
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I'm a creative person at heart so I love to paint and sketch.
