When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
I first got into cooking after I got married 12 years ago. I needed to cook for my husband! I don't remember the first thing I tried but I do remember being in the kitchen all day trying to make just a couple of dishes.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
I keep my kitchen organized when cooking by cleaning as I go. I prepare the recipes using the ingredients I need and then put them away as I use them. I also keep a broom near me so that I keep sweep up messes as they come along to the side and then do a full sweep and clean when I'm done cooking.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Learn those knife skills and keep practicing!
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
omg ina garten for sure. I don't know what I would make but it definitely would not be store-bought. Maybe a panzanella salad and a nice French onion soup with chocolate croissants for dinner.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I just took a wheel spinning clay class and loved it!
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
Pinch of yum
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
