Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
Our home is a southwest stucco home, very typical of the homes in New Mexico. I am drawn to earthy materials but enjoy lots of whites with pops of color. It's always a challenge to combine the two, but so worth it in the end.
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
I think the very first thing we did when we moved into our home was to remove ALL the shag carpet. I also went through a painted almost every room in our home. It's such a simple inexpensive way to give a room an update.
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
It's always a challenge to stay organized and tidy, especially during craft projects! The key, I think, is having a place for everything, getting only the items you need out and then being disciplined enough to put them all away when you are done. Easier said than done sometimes.
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
She's not really a "super celebrity" but I'd love to see Emily Henderson's home from HGTV.
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
1. I would to add more windows to our home.
2. I would love a dedicated craft space.
3. I would love a dedicated play area for my kids.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Other than crafting, I really enjoy painting, gardening, whipping up delicious meals and if I had the time, reading.
