When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?
My grandma tried to teach me when I was about 10, but I gave up. My MIL sent me home with a hook & a book about 5 years ago, and I taught myself. I've knitted or crocheted something almost every single day since then.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
I made a doll blanket... it was supposed to be a scarf, but I gave up after about 12 inches. :)
Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?
I have many favorite pattern designers! I was pleasantly surprised by the number of celebrities that knit and crochet: Betty White, Katherine Heigl, Julia Roberts, Ryan Gosling.
What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?
I particularly love making hats. My 2 favorites (it's a tie) are the Levi Hat & the Mason Hat.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?
I usually catch up on the shows on my DVR while I knit/crochet. I like to watch Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Project Runway, Vampire Diaries, Psych... I watch lots of shows.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Before I had children, I did a lot of painting. I can also sew and cross-stitch.
