When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?
I started knitting January 2013 as per my then boyfriend (now husband) recommendation. My best friend is an avid crocheter and she taught me the very basics. I quickly became hooked! I have learned most of what I know from blogs and youtube.
Can you remember the first thing you made?
Yes! a knit hat from a lovely pattern I found online. It's been a hit!
Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?
Vickie Howell and Rohn Strong are a couple of examples. Although I get lots of inspiration from many bloggers.
What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?
I love love love making hats. My favorite is a shark hat I made for my friend, with a gray body and pink fins! he loves it
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?
I love crocheting to the Daily Show and Colbert Report. I turn my Pandora station on and listen to whatever I'm in the mood for. Usually chill music.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love cooking and baking. I make cute labels to give my baked goods away. I enjoy making large amounts of food to feed crowds of family and friends.
