When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
I don’t remember not cooking. My mom and grandmother are incredible cooks and we were always in the kitchen when we were little. I have very lovely memories of making a gingerbread house with my Nonnie when I was in kindergarten.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
My kitchen is teeny tiny. I clean as I go, and try to only have things that I really use all the time. Not a lot of random gadgets.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Cook often and experiment. With cooking, you can adjust to your tastes and wing it. With baking, buy a really good, sound baking cookbook and follow the recipe closely.
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
I would invite all of the friends that we have made all over the world. We are a military family and have friends all over the globe now. I would make a huge Italian spread with lots of antipasto, bread, and wine.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Photography. Reading. Self-improvement. Is that a hobby?
