When did you first start making jewelry and how did you learn?
I first started making jewelry when I was ten. I started out of boredom and a need to occupy myself with something. I am pretty much self taught, learning from pictures and online. I have only taken a couple of classes.
Can you remember the first piece you made?
I made a bunch of 'rings' from wire and seed beads. Now we use them to wrap around the stems of wine glasses.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Pinterest mostly, but also other blogs and Instagram. I spend an unhealthy amount of time on Pinterest and Instagram.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
I like making things that I can wear, so a lot of jewelry and clothing. I have tried my hand at hair accessories, too. I don't really have a craft space. All of my supplies are in a corner in my living room. I pull everything out and sit on the couch or at the kitchen table.
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
I like to watch crime dramas like Law and Order, CSI, or Criminal Minds.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I read a lot. I mean a lot!
