Nice one I've made similar in the past, think there's still one sitting on my desk somewhere lol. For a smoother look I'd recommend a tenon saw and a mitre box so you get consistent vertical cuts. For the best cut, get a Japanese style flush-cut pull saw, they are the ultimate in smooth cutting and mine cost less than £10
Are you latin? Vivir- the tatoo on your wrist, spanish verb ''to live''. I think this branch has found- or you have given it, a new way to live now that it's fallen from the tree.
Would be cute for all sorts of craft applications and you could also use wood stain if you wanted to give them a different look.
If it they are were going to be used on a garment that will be washed in a washing machine very often, you would probably want to use a waterproof sealer (available at any hardware store), glaze or resin, as the water will cause them to swell and weaken and cause them to break over time.
