About
A little something I invented :)
...at least I think I invented these pendants! Well, I've never seen anyone else make anything like this.
Basically I take a wooden cut-out, stain it with watercolor paint, etch an image of a tree into the wood with a burning tool, fill it in with acrylic paints, glue on freshwater pearls to represent the leaves, then coat it with resin. Voila! Easier said than done.

To answer your question, beautiful mistake: I've never used Diamond Glaze before, but I would imagine that any sort of varnish would give it a nice finish. If you use a strong glue (I use E-6000) to adhere the pearls, I don't suppose the resin is necessary. I just like the look/feel of it and use it on all of my wooden pendants.
so is your artwork.
