This is a cheap and very easy project to do. I was always getting my jewelry tangled and scratched laying in my jewelry drawer plus being very unorganized. This is a wonderful way to have everything neat and easily at hand. Give it a try!

Step 1
Start out by getting an artist canvas. My daughter is a painter and this was one she no longer liked so it is already painted behind the fabric. If you use something sheer this works great.. if the canvas is blank try using fabric that is not as transparent.
Step 2
Cover the canvas with your fabric securing in the back using the glue gun. Be careful not to burn yourself. Make sure the fabric is taut and straight.
Step 3
Take the elastic (what I used) or stretch lace for a more delicate look and depending on how many pairs of earrings you have, glue the elastic to the top back of the canvas. Again, pulling VERY tight. Once you get your earrings on the weight will pull down the elastic.. so make sure it is tight. I used push pins to hold it tight while I glued it to the back of the canvas when the glue dries you can remove the push pins.
Step 4
Next step you want to decide where to put the push pins or s hooks. I tried out several different arrangements before deciding on where to place the pins. You need them to be higher on the canvas for necklaces and you can stagger them for bracelets. Once you decide where the placements should be, hot glue these into place. Dont worry, if you change your design plan.. the previous holes made by the pins will not show through in the final design.
Step 5
you are now ready to display your jewelry.

Now you have a great jewelry display or can also be used to hold hair accessories or come up with your own use! Hope you enjoy this fun easy project!
