Tutu Skirt For A Little Girl

A quick sew jersey skirt with tulle underneath for a tutu look
I made this with some fabric remnants from walmart, because my daughter just loved the purple tulle, it was so simple to make, took about 30 minutes start to finish.

All I did was fold the tulle so it layered down, gathered it and sewed it on top of some black jersey, then I took a strip of jersey the length of my daughter's waist and about 4 inches wide, folded it in half, and sewed the raw edge to the right side of the skirt.

After that I flipped it up, turned it inside out, and sewed the raw edges of the skirt together and flipped it right side out and voila... Tutu skirt. She loves it.
