That's adorable, and storage would be really simple. Great idea!

What a great idea! I live in a drom so it would be easy for me to use. Keep the great ideas coming. ... You should also think of stuff for dorm use. Since the rooms are really small and two people live in there, it would be great to have fun ideas to my the room personal.

We have a fondue pot, but it's so huge I'd rather use this to do a personal sized one!!

What gauge wire do you suggest? One could also use a tuna tin but it might take longer to heat up..

This is ingenious! I have a set but this would make a fun gift. Also, to make several and have different dips in each for a fondue buffet!

I'm always looking for new ways to reuse things like Altoid tins. Loooove this!

This is a cute idea! :]

This is a great idea! Also, I would think that altoid tins _are_ made out of aluminum. Real tin is hard to find these days.

Hm, isn't there a problem with the laquer on the tin evaporating or burning? Maybe it would be better to just buy a small cake tin (made of aluminium)...

We had the candle under it for about 15 minutes and it worked just fine. But yeah, getting a tin made of aluminium is probably a good idea.
