About
a simple and fun stripe scarf!
I used size 11 needles and 3 skeins of yarn for this project. One darker blue, one white and one minty green yarn. The white and green yarns were baby yarns so i used them together as one color to offset the blue. You can use which ever colors and needle sized you feel comfortable with though! Don't be afraid to experiment!
You Will Need
-
Step 1
Dark Blue = Color A
Green/White = Color B
CO = Cast OnSo using your needles, CO 16 stitches.
:Row 1-4: Knit using A
:Row 5-6: Introduce Color B (either knot or weave it into the stitches) and knit
:Row 7-10: Switch back to A and knit
:Row 11-12: Switch to B and knit
Continue until desired length and bind off
The funky thing about this scarf is instead of making it wide enough to fold and sew, you're leaving the "wrong" side exposed and therefore adding character to your scarf
have fun!
