About
A delicious no-bake treat
I made this for a work bake sale. They had sold out by lunchtime, so I consider that a win! The recipe is a combination of this one: http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/7451/chocolate-tiffin.aspx and how my boyfriend remembers his father making tiffin when he was a child. I bought all my ingredients from aldi and made 12-15 squares for £5.

You Will Need
-
Step 2
Line your dish with Clingfilm, this will make your tiffin easier to get out later. You could also use baking paper or a silicon tray.
-
Step 4
Add your crushed biscuits, cocoa powder and the dried fruit to a mixing bowl and stir until everything is covered with the cocoa powder.
-
Step 5
Add the condensed milk and mix. You want the mixture to stick together but not be too wet. You may not need it all, I had a small amount left in the bottom of the can.
-
Step 6
Put the mixture in the dish and press down until it is even, flat and in all the corners.
-
Step 7
Chill in the fridge for 30mins.
-
Step 8
Melt the milk and dark chocolate. I used a measuring jug, blasted in the microwave for 30 second internals, stirring in between. You could also use a bowl over a pan of water.
-
Step 9
Pour the chocolate over your biscuit mixture, and spread it so it is even and flat. Decorate with the white chocolate buttons and chips. I tried to estimate how I would cut it up, and placed the buttons so there would be one per piece.
-
Step 10
Chill in the fridge for a few hours ( I left mine over night). Then pop it out of the dish and cut into portions. Enjoy! Let me know below if you try it out!
