Oh, this is a fun technique. It does need some practice though..
Things to keep in mind:
1. Metallic or pearly colours will expand way too much.. If you still want to use these, my advise is to not use it as your first drip of colour.
2. Use a small container to drop your colours. This way there's less room to expand (too much).
The white base is a great idea. Didn't think of that..
P.S: did someone try it with shaving cream already? Curious to know if it works.
if you want something that will really make your nails glow???? Go to hottopic.com (or any store where you can find these) and use glow in the dark nail polish for this
this is cool! im wondering if shaving cream would work better than water? i did a marble paper painting thing like this using shaving cream, idk i'm going to try it!
this is stunning, but when I tried it, I failed. Dismally.
First nail was great, but it got progressively worse. I did 4 nails, gave up and spent half hour trying to get all the polish off my hands!
Hey, as far as i know most of my nail polishes seem todo it and the ranges for cheap cheap cheap to semi expensive. the only ones that dont work seem to be mattalic or very runny:/
Does it matter about the brand? i tried it with one of my nail polishes, i think it is a cheap brand and the circles kind of 'break' if you knwo what i mean?
ive done this a lot, but for some reason, i never thought of using white as a base to make them brighter... wow i feel dumb... ps are u british? hehe "plasters" band aids, right?
Its not so difficult but it is messy :/ and takes along time. ive seen people do it on you tube and say it only takes 20 min. LIESSS. it takes ages :]
worth it though
