• 

  Step 1

  First you need to gather your supplies
  (I just took the fabric off an old headband)

• 

  Step 2

  The next step is to cut a rectangle about double the size of the headband

• 

  Step 3

  Measure a line in the middle and mark it with a fabric marker

• 

  Step 4

  Now use that line to create small folds that make ruffles. Pin it together.

• 

  Step 5

  Sew the button in place using the needle and thread

• 

  Step 6

  Now sew a button in the center of the ruffle you just made.

• 

  Step 7

  It should look something like this..

• 

  Step 8

  Next wrap your headband in fabric tape(or you can use a glue gun.. it might work better...

• 

  Step 9

  Now wrap the fabric around the fabric around the headband. you will have to trim off excess fabric.

• 

  Step 10

  Cover the end in fabric tape..

• 

  Step 11

  and wrap it in your 1/2 inch fabric strip..(i used bias tape)

• 

  Step 12

  You can also line the inside of the head band with fabric and tape it there

• 

  Step 13

  Taadaa!! You have a beautiful brand new headband!! yay!!

Thanks for your question! Yes it would! you would have to use a smaller button and maybe you might want to put more ruffles so you can see them. Hope it help!

This is a really cute tutorial, and I'm suprised not a lot of people commented! Anyways, just a wuestion, would this work with a small kind of headband? Just a straight, normal one? I'm not sure how to describe it, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
