Candy Summer Garden Furniture

Candy coloured garden suite sure to make you smile even when the typical UK weather rears its head
I wish I had taken photos of our garden furniture before their make over. They were really worn and a bit of a mess. So we decided that rather than buying a new set which would waste money and not be so green we decided to make them over. Tightened the nuts, screws and bolts and then went about sanding them by hand. As I said before our set was quite scruffy and weathered so didn't need to do too much sanding which was great because I hate sanding. We then applied our paint. We (me and my lovely mum) chose 5 different colours in bright candy hues of outside furniture paint by Ronseal and B&Q, one for each piece of furniture. Painted them each with two coats except for the yellow bench which took a lot more but then yellow always does doesn't darlings. Completed the look with neutral seat cushions cheaply picked up from Argos. Voila!
