grocery stores didn't always have reusable bags. we always saved those bags, and now i have something to do with them all.
plastic shopping bags crocheted into more stylish, reusable bags. the first step was to lay the bag out flat and cut off the bottom edge. then, cutting through only 1 lay of the bag, cut a 1 inch stip continuously using the whole bag until you get to the handles. keep making these strips and tie them all together with a simple square knot. then start crocheting!

use different size hooks and stitches. use all bags from the same store or from all different stores to get different looks. i used size k hook and a triple crochet.

bag 1: big y tote
bag 2: various tote
bag 3: walmart tote with oceanstate job lot trim
bag 4: stop & shop clutch
bag 5: stop & shop tote
bag 6: dollar tree tote
