Arm Knitting
Use yarn with a stripe pattern to create this fun color block hoodie. You won’t have to change colors or patterns because the yarn does it for you! Adding a seam at the center of the scarf creates a hood, making this an extra cozy piece to wear.

The project shown uses Lion Brand® Yarn Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick® Stripes (5oz./87yd. [140g/80m]), 3 skeins #604 Huskies.

Step 1
Line up yarn strands to keep stripe pattern even throughout.

Step 2
Using 3 strands held together, cast on 7 stitches.

Step 3
Work in Plain Stitch until 7 color blocks have been completed or until work measures 80" (203cm) or desired length. Bind off.

Step 4
Fold scarf in half with knotted sides facing. Sew seam for hood from fold down 11" (28cm).
Weave in ends.
