• 

  Step 1

  Heat oven 180 degrees.

  Rub the flour & butter together.

• 

  Step 2

  Add the almonds.

  Stir through.

• 

  Step 3

  Add the sugar.

  Stir through.

• 

  Step 4

  Gather the crumbs into a dough.

  Divide into two.

• 

  Step 5

  Press into two circles.

  Prick with a fork all over.

• 

  Step 6

  Bake for 20 mins.

  Remove from oven cut one piece of shortbread into 8 triangles.

  Set aside to cool completely.

  Step 7

  Make the cream...

  Whip the cream, vanilla & sugar together until thick.

• 

  Step 8

  Slice the strawberries.

  Fold 3/4 through the cream.

• 

  Step 9

  Spoon the cream/strawberry mixture onto the biscuit base.

• 

  Step 10

  Top with the triangle shortcake.

• 

  Step 11

  Top with remaining strawberries.

• 

  Step 12

  Sprinkle with icing sugar.

• 

  Step 13

  Cut & serve.
