• 

  Step 1

  Grab your old tamagotchi because its time for a makeover.

• 

  Step 2

  use nail varnish remover to remove the design, it would sick up under the paint and create an uneven surface.

• 

  Step 3

  cover screen and infared top with masking tape and spray with a base colour. Here I'm using decorative silver spray.

• 

  Step 4

  Paint with sparkley base nail polish, exept for a few details in which the base colour can show through.

• 

  Step 5

  stick on some shaped stickers to act as a resist.

• 

  Step 6

  paint all over with crackle nail polish and allow to dry.

• 

  Step 7

  remove the sickers to reveal a pattern! now you can also take off the masking tape.

• 

  Step 8

  add stick on jewels for decoration.

I haven't got a battery to test it, however theorecically this shouldn't breach its inner workings ^^
