About
Simple but cute flower pillow/plushie i originally made for my cousin.
Made this for my youngest cousin. If you're making this for a small child, make sure your seams and button are tightly sewn and secure :)

Step 1
Get all of the materials.
-
Step 3
Fold your cloth in half, and then trace the pattern onto one of the sides.
-
Step 4
Cut through BOTH layers of cloth, but cut around where you drew. Cut kind of a circle around your flower pattern. I think its easier this way, then you can use the pattern you drew as a guide for where to sew.
-
Step 5
Sew through both layers on the lines you drew, and sew all the way around. You can leave a gap for stuffing if you want, but i'm bad at the invisible stitching and stuff so i don't haha.
-
Step 6
Cut the excess cloth off, and then cut a slit in the center of your flower.
-
Step 7
Use the slit to turn the flower inside out, and stuff it. Hand sew the slit shut after you're done. it won't be very visible later, so don't worry.
-
Step 8
Now you need to hand sew to define the petals. We don't want a flower shaped blob, do we? Take a needle and some same-colour-as-the-fabric thread and poke from the center of the bottom of the plushie, and poke up through the center to the top. Then take the thread, and go across where one of the petals edge would be and go under the petal and back to the center of the bottom. Sorry if that is confusing!
-
Step 9
Repeat that, and scrunch up the string by pulling it tight. Do the same thing around to all the other petals.
-
Step 10
Sew on your button or whatever you're using for the center.
